I had such a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in Barrie. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds made for a truly relaxing stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals, and the added bonus of Netflix made for enjoyable evenings in. The hosts were responsive and provided thoughtful extras like shampoo and shower gel. The location was convenient, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The highlight for me was the large, quiet garden, reminiscent of an Anne of Green Gables experience. Although the house had some older features, it added to the charm and history of the place. The walk into town down Bayfield was lovely, and I even took a scenic train ride to downtown Toronto. I left Healven Villa with a heart full of joy and would highly recommend this property.

The speedy internet and availability of Netflix were additional perks that enhanced our stay. The hosts were responsive and check-in was easy. Plus, they provided extra amenities like shampoo, shower gel, and a hairdryer, which was greatly appreciated.
While the house had a lot of character, it also had a few drawbacks. There was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom and utility room, which was understandable considering the age of the house.

the anne of green gables experience at this charming home in barrie exceeded all expectations. the spacious rooms were incredibly comfortable and the well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed. the hosts were responsive and check-in was a breeze. would definitely recommend for a delightful stay.
